What do David Arquette and Jersey Shore star Vinny Guadagnino have in common?

Their taste in women, apparently.

We hear from a very solid source that before (or maybe while?) Jasmine Waltz had her fling with David, she hooked up with Vinny when he was in Los Angeles recently!

An insider who has worked with Jasmine tells us she and Vinny had some fun last month when he was in town for the VMAs.

“Jasmine isn’t very subtle when she hooks up with someone famous, and she’s hooked up with a lot of celebrities,” says our source close with Waltz.

She has been linked to David, Jesse McCartney, Doug Reinhardt, Chris Pine, and Ryan Seacrest and that’s just the tip of the Hollywood iceberg, trust.

“Jasmine was talking about hooking up with Vinny because she thought it was funny,” adds our source. “She said he was a good hookup.”

No surprise there, since Snooki told our pal Marc Malkin that Vinny is hung like a watermelon.

The Jersey Shore gang frequents Voyeur when they are in town, a club Jasmine worked at as a cocktail waitress, and that’s supposedly when the two first met before their hookup last month.

“He thought she was hot,” adds our spy. “It’s not like it was anything serious. Just a fun fling.”

And our insider wants to stress that Jasmine really is a “sweet girl.”

“Living in Hollywood, and especially with her job, you meet a lot of celebrities. Jasmine’s pretty and young, why wouldn’t she have fun with these guys if she can?”

That’s one way of looking at it.

Really though, what has us most intrigued is the timeline of the Vinny hookup. The VMAs were Sept. 12 in Los Angeles, and David was back and forth from L.A. and Ann Arbor (where he was shooting Scream 4) around the same time.

Here’s hoping Vinny and David didn’t cross…paths?

In the wake of recent suicides reportedly related to anti-gay taunting, such as Rutgers student Tyler Clementi and 13-year-old Seth Walsh, MTV has teamed up with the Jed Foundation and actress Brittany Snow, with support from DoSomething.org, the Trevor Project, Reach Out, Active Minds and the Ad Council for the Love Is Louder initiative. The campaign strives to provide messages of hope and love to young people who feel they have no place to turn.

High-profile faces are joining Snow in an effort to remind teens that support is available, regardless of the challenges they may face. “Jersey Shore” castmember Vinny Guadagnino has recently stepped up to remind young people that although taunts can hurt, there is always relief from the pain.

“I want you to know that I know how it feels to be bullied and disrespected. But I also want you to know that there’s always, always love and support all around you,” Guadagnino said in a video posted on Your.MTV.com on Friday. “So make sure you give love [and] receive love [because] love is a lot louder than abuse.”

Like Guadagnino, Snow remembered being bullied when she was younger and was touched by the shocking suicides of young people like Clementi and Walsh. The “Hairspray” star recently explained to MTV News that she wanted to orchestrate a project that not only comforts teens but empowers them. So, she connected with her pal Courtney Knowles, executive director of the Jed Foundation, to launch an inspiring enterprise.

“Love Is Louder is a movement that is hopefully going to bring some awareness and make some noise when it comes to teens who are feeling suicidal or even just sad, outcasts, and being bullied, and really feel like they have nowhere to turn to,” Snow explained. “It’s a place where people who have been through it can support them and share their stories, [so they will know] that they’re not alone, and that there’s a place for people to put their experiences and hope.”

In Hollywood, no matter how famous you are, it seems that just about every celebrity has that one person they are dying to meet. Who knows, maybe George Clooney is secretly dying to meet Robert Pattinson? You just never know with these people.

Part of what makes awards shows like the VMAs so much fun is the chance to bring all of these stars together. This is especially the case for the cast of “Jersey Shore,” who, while famous for partying and GTL-ing it up, haven’t had a chance to meet all the celebrities they love. So who, of all the talent at the VMAs, was Vinny dying to meet?

“Selena Gomez,” he said, quickly adding, “if she’s 18.”

Well Vinny, Selena is 18, but when you phrase it like that, it’s pretty obvious why you’re trying to hang out with the Disney princess. She admitted to MTV when we caught up with her later that she was a big “Jersey Shore” fan, but when informed that Vinny wanted to hang out with her as long as she was 18 years old, her enthusiasm did not stretch that far.

“Tonight, I’m not 18!” Selena said quickly. “My mom would kill me! I will say I am a very big fan though, a very big fan, and I do look forward to meeting them, but that’s as far as it goes.
