While the cast of “Jersey Shore” was mysteriously left off the guest list for the star-studded event at the White House on Saturday night, they still managed to be connected to the prestigious dinner.

President Obama demonstrated his current knowledge of pop culture with references to Jay Leno, Facebook, and even the cast of MTV’s hit reality show.

During his speech at the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner, Obama quipped, “The following individuals will be excluded from the indoor tanning tax within this bill: Snooki, J-WOWW, the Situation and House minority leader John Boehner“.
