Jersey Shore star DJ Pauly D confirmed tonight (Monday) he and Sean “Diddy” Combs will be teaming up for at least one upcoming project. “Just Had A Great Convo With @Iamdiddy ,,,, Some Good Things In The Works !!!!” the MTV reality star tweeted.
Pauly D didn’t specify what type of partnership he and Diddy will form, but it’s most likely to be something musical. Diddy is a music producer, rapper, and actor who owns a huge entertainment company. Bad Boy Entertianment Worldwide includes a record label, movie production company, and two clothing lines.
DJ Pauly D is currently one of the biggest celebrity DJs thanks to his breakout star status on MTV’s Jersey Shore. He released his first single, Beat Dat Beat in July. It’s featured on the Jersey Shore Soundtrack.
This is the second time in a month that Diddy has been linked to a Jersey Shore star. In September, Diddy was reportedly desperately trying to track down Sammi Giancola’s phone number while the two were at the same event. Perhaps he can work that into the deal with Pauly.
The 2010 MTV Europe Music Awards are just weeks away. Joining the swiftly growing line up of performers and presenters this week are Shakira and Jersey Shore’s Pauly D.
Shakira, along with Plan B, will join already confirmed performances from Katy Perry, Kid Rock, Kings of Leon, Linkin Park, and Ke$ha, as a performer when the show takes place November 7 in Madrid.

As previously reported, ‘Desperate Housewives’ star Eva Longoria will host the MTV Europe Music Awards (EMA), airing live on MTV November 7.
Jersey Shore star, reliable wingman, blowout poster boy and current king of quips Pauly DelVecchio, known as DJ Pauly D to his fans, has secured his own spin-off, Radar Online reports.
What makes Pauly worthy of becoming the Frasier to his Cheers, the Joey to his Friends? Perhaps it’s that, of the seven main residents of the Jersey Shore house, he’s the only one with a real job. (Shilling gelato and making club appearances doesn’t really count. Nor does spinning Karina Smirnoff on Dancing with the Stars. Sorry, Sitch.)
The spin-off will center on Pauly’s spinning career as a club DJ, starting with its name (still TBA): “They have already chosen a name and of course it will be deejay-related,” reports Radar.
Jersey Shore just wrapped filming season 3 back in its namesake state, and has already been renewed for season 4 (which, judging by the underwhelming drama on season 2 thus far, sounds a lot like counting one’s chickens before they get drunk and bite off the heads of the other chickens, if you ask me), but Radar’s source says Pauly’s Jersey Shore obligations won’t get in the way:
“It’s another MTV reality show and he’ll be DJ-ing and of course doing things his fans love to watch,” the source laughed, referring to Pauly’s way with the ladies. So, by “doing things,” they mean “doing random girls”? Got it.
What will Pauly’s new spinning spin-off be called? As usual, I’ve got some ideas. How about … DJ Tannest? (FULL HOUSE JOKE!) Spin Sh*tty? Pauly Shore? (That last one may be a little too confusing, but would definitely tap directly into the highly coveted Biodome fan demographic.)
Whatever the name, the more important question is whether the usually level-headed (but high-haired) Pauly will be able to sustain enough interest when he goes from ensemble cast member to main star. How will he dish out his words of wisdom (we’re grading on a curve here) without his housemates around to make all those mistakes? Will The Situation need make a guest appearance to add excitement, a la Jennifer Aniston on Cougar Town?

Jersey Shore producers and MTV are violating the state’s racketeering statutes, charges a Toms River lawyer who is representing a man who claims he was attacked by star Paul “DJ Pauly D” Delvecchio during filming last summer.
Kenneth Hoffman of Forked River says he was at the Bamboo Bar in Seaside Heights with a friend when Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino started making kissy faces at the friend, according to Hoffman’s attorney, John Novak, who filed the suit with Jean Donoghue-Simon. Novak says bar workers then grabbed both men, one of them wrapping his arm around Hoffman’s neck in a chokehold, while Pauly D ran over from another part of the bar and punched Hoffman, causing damage to his spine for which he needed surgery. Pauly D is not facing any criminal charges in the incident, according to the Ocean County prosecutor’s office and Seaside Heights Municipal Court.
“Ocean County residents should not be used as props for this production company’s profits and ratings,” Novak says. “[Hoffman] was savagely victimized and sustained permanent injuries as a direct result of the defendants’ continuing course of profit-motivated criminal conduct.” (Hence the racketeering allegation.)
The defendents are Delvecchio, MTV, MTV’s parent company Viacom, 495 Productions, which produces the show, Bamboo Bar, and Bamboo Bar worker Thomas McDade. An MTV spokeswoman says the network doesn’t respond to pending litigation, and no one answered the phone at Bamboo Bar.
On Friday, a Superior Court judge in Toms River allowed RICO and assault claims to stand in two other lawsuits filed by three people who also say they were attacked by a “Jersey Shore” castmate (Ronnie Magro, who still faces felony aggravated assault charges in one of the cases.)

On Tuesday we reported that the Jersey Shore guys were literally keeping a scoreboard on the wall of the number of women they bedded.
After the scoreboard had only been up for a week, Mike had 4, Pauly D came in second with 2 and Vinny only had one. “The ladies love ‘The Situation’, says our source. “Mike has always gotten the girls, this scoreboard just proves it.”
Some of the guys are bringing home three or fours in one night. “They can’t resist the abs and his charisma,” says the source. It seems that Mike likes a woman in uniform. “He lets all the girls try on his gelato uniform,” says our source.
After their sexcapades with the Shore castmates, some of the girls caught the eye of the cameramen on their way out and liked the attention.
